Do you think dating is hard?

I am a certified life &
dating coach for Curvy Women
who are ready to redefine their self-worth,
embrace their single life, and date confidently.

Welcome! My name is Cristina. I don’t know about you, but I grew up thinking the perfect life was to go to school, find a stable job, get married, have a family, buy a house, and live happily ever after. In that order. No modifications. No substitutions.

So I went to school, graduated, began a career and oopsie! Didn’t get married or start a family.

I was doing all of the “right” things! I was feeling awesome! But then…where was this person I was supposed to marry? How could I possibly go onto the next milestone in life without this person?

I was single.

I spent A LOT of years having drama about being single. I was ready to get to this next step in life, yet I couldn’t because I was single. I wasn’t single for a few months here and there, I was single for years. Sure, I went on dates, got set up by friends, went out with friends in hopes of meeting people, but never found this one person to take it to the next level.

I made this mean so much about me. I had so many stories I told myself. I was single because I was too nerdy, too smart, not smart enough. It was because of my weight or my height. Maybe because of my shift schedule. I was probably single because I was kind of a tomboy - I liked Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, going to sporting events, and I enjoyed a cold beer or three. I felt alone. I felt unworthy. I felt like I was never going to be good enough.

Finally, I figured out that none of that mattered. I had to decide I wasn’t going to sit around and not do anything fun in my life because I was “supposed” to wait for this person to do all of these incredible things with. Why did I have to wait to have a partner to do anything? I could be single and still create the best life.

Slowly, I started making small decisions - went to a movie I wanted to see. Treated myself to a new restaurant I wanted to try. Then, I booked a weekend trip by myself out of town. It was awesome! I was FINALLY living a life I wanted and I figured out it was OKAY! It was okay to do things my way. I didn’t have to follow some ridiculous order to live my life.

When I turned 30, I bought my own home. By myself. Without the partner I was supposed to be waiting for. You know why? Because I wanted it!

Don’t get me wrong, I still wanted to find a partner and do all of the things. But I wasn’t going to stop creating the life I wanted. I figured out I was going to create an amazing life and finding that person to join me was going to be the cherry on top!

So here is the thing, you get to create your own milestones in your life. You get to pick the order in which you feel is best. You don’t have to follow a story that someone else has created for you. You get to write your own story.

In 2020, I became a Certified Life Coach. I received my Bachelor's of Science at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX in 2007. I hired my own life coach in 2018 and fell in love with the person I was becoming. I couldn't help but want to share my knowledge with the world and decided to complete my Life Coach training with the Life Coach School.

I help curvy women forget about the struggles of dating and learn to feel sexy, bold, and own it on all of their dates.

When I turned 30 years old, I knew there was something more for me in life. I was single and I just bought my first home. I wasn’t really sure what to do next. A few years went by and I still knew I wanted something more in life, but I was still doing the same actions. I was working, coming home,  having dinner, rinse and repeat. Every day. Same actions. Same results.

I hired a life coach in 2018. Small changes started to happen. I developed new skills like journaling my thoughts and planning my days. Eventually that grew into a new interest in self development. I started listening to podcasts, reading new books, creating goals, and believing I could accomplish anything I put my mind to. I learned that if I wanted to make changes in my life, I had to create massive action. I learned massive action didn’t happen on the couch. I needed to get up and just make it happen. I had to be willing to feel uncomfortable, try new things, and see what worked. I had to be the scientist of my own life. I figured out that I am capable of amazing things and the only thing holding me back are my own thoughts. I have learned to clean up the thoughts that hold me back and create better thoughts that serve me. Those thoughts are what help me meet goals and create new ones.

I am loving the life I am creating and I want to share what I have learned with you. If you feel alone, stuck, and you know you want more in life, I can help you get there. My life coach helped me with thoughts about my weight, self love, self confidence, my relationship with myself, and so much more. I am on a mission to to help you too.
